The Hunfeld
Housekeeping employee - The Hunfeld
Utrecht August 11th 2026 Housekeeping
A day in the life of a Housekeeping Employee
- You start your day with a briefing from the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor and then get to work independently. You prepare rooms for new guests by making beds, thoroughly cleaning bathrooms, and leaving the room neat and fresh.
- In addition, you ensure supplies such as towels and toiletries are replenished and keep common areas clean. Do you notice a technical problem? Then you report it directly to your supervisor.
- No day is the same: sometimes you also help with setting up rooms or internal moves. Thanks to your efforts, guests can enjoy a clean and comfortable environment every day.
The skills behind the smile
A true Housekeeping Employee enjoys nothing more than providing our guests with optimal service. You are naturally hospitable and you also recognize yourself in the following points:
- Hospitable and flexible. You are happy to support the entire hospitality team;
- A colleague with an eye for detail: you like to work thoroughly and carefully for the best possible result and check your own work;
- A real go-getter: you are enthusiastic and enjoy working with commitment!
- You are a colleague who is also available on weekends.
The cookie with the coffee
At UCC, you do not simply become a colleague, but part of a close-knit family. We believe that work is more than just performing: it is also about experiencing things together. That is why we regularly organize family moments such as UCC Friday afternoon drinks and UCC parties, and special moments such as anniversaries are celebrated together. New colleagues receive a warm welcome during the Welcome to UCC day, where you meet new colleagues and get to know the company better.
Of course, you also want to know what you get in return for all that hard work, so here are some important things listed.
- A salary based on wage scale 2 from the hospitality industry collective labor agreement;
- A 7-month contract for 24-30 hours per week;
- Travel allowance from 10 km commuting distance based on public transport;
- Discounts on stays in the most beautiful hotels and apartments in Utrecht.
In addition, we value commitment and quality. That is why we offer room for performance-based increases when you make a difference.
