WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Front Office employee, you will take care of our guests with:

  • A warm and personal welcome, and thus you convey the special hotel feeling;
  • Sincere attention, you find surprising ways to make the guest's stay even more enjoyable;
  • Relieving our guests, ensuring that our guests lack nothing;
  • Providing guests with breakfast in the morning and performing preparatory and concluding tasks;
  • Providing room service to our guests upon request;
  • Conducting (random) checks of the quality of the rooms;
  • Following the Guest Journey for our guests;
  • Checking guests in and out using the reservation system;
  • Answering and transferring phone calls;
  • Administrative tasks such as drafting, answering, and sending emails;
  • Receiving and passing on requests, complaints, and/or other messages from guests;
  • Processing reservations in the reservation system;
  • Financial accountability at shift handover for payments made;
  • Financial administration, such as correctly closing accounts, processing corrections on accounts, checking card payments, etc.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

A true Front Office employee of Utrecht Boutique Hotels loves nothing more than to surprise guests. You are naturally hospitable and also recognize yourself in the following points:

  • An enthusiastic and independent employee with (how could it be otherwise) an eye for detail.
  • You have experience as a receptionist and/or are following/have completed an education at the Hotel School.
  • You are looking for surprising ways to make the guest's experience even more enjoyable.
  • Communicatively skilled in Dutch and English (an additional foreign language is a plus but not required).
  • Possession of a first aid diploma is a plus.
  • Possession of a Social Hygiene diploma is a plus.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Flexibly deployable: shifts also take place on weekends and evenings.
