WHAT WILL YOU DO?

In the role of Cluster Front Office Manager, you manage the Front Office department in the Eye Hotel and The Hunfeld hotels. Your goal is to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction, improve operational efficiency, and maximize revenue. In this key position, you are constantly focused on providing service from the heart. With your leadership and dedication, you ensure that these crucial departments function efficiently and with the right guest experience. You create a unique atmosphere through open communication, involvement, and creativity so that employees can develop.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Guest experience: together with the Front Office team, you relieve our guests with the ultimate experience within our hotel and in Utrecht. We continuously optimize the Guest Journey to meet the needs of our guests;
  • Team recruitment, training & coaching: recruitment and selection of new employees, you motivate and coach the team of colleagues within the Front Office and ensure a pleasant working atmosphere. You ensure that our employees are in the right place by maintaining a proper work-life balance;
  • Operational leadership: you are ultimately responsible for coordinating and leading the daily activities at the hotel reception in collaboration with the Front Office Supervisors. Any escalations and complaints are adequately followed up;
  • Planning and collaboration; together with the Housekeeping Manager, you ensure that the staffing schedule is in order and that the quality and service are according to hotel standards and protocols;
  • Business optimization; overseeing progress and quality while actively thinking about taking on new projects with the optimization of the Guest Journey in mind;
  • Revenue management; ensuring a complete range of services and promoting additional services for the hotel, such as upgrades and packages;
  • Reporting and performance management; ensuring adequate (monthly) administration and keeping track of and analyzing performance, such as labor productivity and reviews, and reporting to your manager.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Just like the team, you are someone who does everything to make our guests happy. Furthermore:

  • MBO level 4/HBO working and thinking level;
  • Experience 3-5 years in a similar managerial role, such as Assistant Front Office Manager, Front Office Manager, etc., in the hospitality industry;
  • Flexibly deployable: shifts also take place on weekends and evenings;
  • Knowledge of company rules, guidelines, and relevant laws and regulations;
  • Communicatively skilled in Dutch and English (an additional language is a plus but not required);
  • You are enthusiastic and have a hands-on mentality and a proactive attitude;
  • You are a leader who is aware of their role model and direct influence on the satisfaction of our internal and external guests;
  • Nothing will escape your attention, and you strive for quality and service in which we surprise each other;
  • Practical insight into the available systems;
  • Knowledge of (financial) key and steering figures is a plus.
