Senior Housekeeping Employee
Utrecht June 9th 2026 Housekeeping
A day in the life of a Senior Housekeeping Employee
As a Senior Housekeeper, you ensure that rooms, public areas, and facilities are clean, tidy, and welcoming. You make beds, change bed linens, clean rooms and bathrooms, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries. Additionally, you check rooms together with the Housekeeping Supervisor before they are put back into use.
You identify technical defects, perform small repairs such as replacing light bulbs, and maintain inventory levels. You also support other departments with room setups and internal moves.
Within the team, you play an important role by training new colleagues, coordinating daily tasks in the absence of the supervisor, and working together to ensure an organized and efficient work environment.
The skills behind the smile
A true Housekeeping Employee loves nothing more than providing optimal service to our guests. You are naturally hospitable and you recognize yourself in the following points:
- MBO level 2 thinking and working level.
- Hospitable and flexible. You enjoy supporting the entire hospitality team;
- A colleague with an eye for detail: you like to work thoroughly and carefully for an optimal result and check your own work;
- A real go-getter: you are enthusiastic and enjoy working with dedication!
- You are a colleague who is also available on weekends.
Brilliant extras
At UCC, you don't just become a colleague, but part of a close-knit family. We believe that work is more than just performing: it's also about experiencing together. That's why we regularly organize family moments such as UCC get-togethers and UCC parties, and special moments like anniversaries are celebrated together. New colleagues are warmly welcomed during the Welcome to UCC day where you meet new colleagues and get to know the company better.
Of course, you also want to know what all that hard work is worth, so here are some important things listed.
- A salary based on pay scale 3 from the hospitality collective labor agreement;
- A 12-month contract for 30 hours per week (5 days, 6 hours per day);
- Travel allowance from 10km commuting distance based on public transport.
In addition, we value effort and quality. That's why we offer room for performance increases when you make a difference.
